Chip and Renee Wittrock fell in love with the people and weather in Scottsdale in the 90s when they lived in Iowa and had an office on Scottsdale Road. Scottsdale was one of five cities where they had offices at that time, and Scottsdale Arizona was by far their favorite city.
In 1995, they were blessed by the birth of their son, Levi, and decided that staying close to family in Iowa was the best way to raise him. Once that decision was made, they closed all of their offices except the one in in Carroll, Iowa.
Yet over the years, they never lost their love connection to Scottsdale. In July of 2012, when Levi was older and the opportunity arose, they jumped on the chance to relocate here. The first week they were here, they went into the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce and asked how they could help the chamber and local business. And, as the story unfolds, they have been doing just that since August of 2012.
What they found out since they have lived here is that Scottsdale is a vibrant economic machine and is a city that participates and gives back on a global level. The Wittrocks are proud to be part of the bustling business community in Scottsdale and the Scottsdale Airpark. Through the chamber, they have sat on a number of committees. Chip sits on the Political Policy Advisory Council. Renee was on the board of directors, sat on the Economic Development Advisory Council, the Scottsdale Forward planning committee and was the Chairperson for the Airpark Action Committee.
